Question 1

What are directory backlinks?

Accepted Answer

A directory backlink is a link to your website from a listing on an online directory — a site that catalogues businesses, software, startups or tools. Each listing usually includes your name, description and a link back to your site. Relevant listings help people and search engines find and understand your business.

Question 2

How does the process work?

Accepted Answer

Choose a package, then tell us about your website: URL, name, description, category and target keywords. We prepare your listing details, pick directories that suit your category and submit to each one by hand. When we're done you receive a report of every submission.

Question 3

How long does delivery take?

Accepted Answer

Each package shows an expected delivery window, from a few business days for Starter to about two weeks for Scale. The window starts once we have your complete details. If anything is likely to take longer, we'll tell you.

Question 4

Are all submissions guaranteed to be accepted?

Accepted Answer

No. Each directory has its own editors and review process, and some take weeks to approve listings or decline them for their own reasons. We guarantee the submissions are made, carefully and by hand, and our report shows each directory and its current status. We can't control what a third-party directory decides.

Question 5

Are backlinks dofollow or nofollow?

Accepted Answer

Both. Each directory decides how it marks outbound links, and many use nofollow. We don't promise a set dofollow ratio. Nofollow links from relevant directories still bring visibility, referral traffic and a natural-looking link profile.

Question 6

What information do you need from me?

Accepted Answer

Your website URL, business or product name, a short description, your industry or category, a few target keywords and a contact email. You can also add notes, such as directories to avoid or wording to use. The order form asks for all of this in one step.

Question 7

Will directory submissions improve my Google rankings?

Accepted Answer

We can't promise that, and anyone who guarantees rankings is overpromising. Search rankings depend on many factors, including your content, competition and technical health. Directory listings are a sensible part of a broader SEO effort: they build presence, consistency and discoverability. They aren't a shortcut to page one.

Question 8

Can I submit a SaaS or AI product?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We have dedicated SaaS, startup and AI tool directory services, and the larger packages include those directories in the mix. Choose the right category in the order form and we'll prioritise directories that list products like yours.

Question 9

Do you provide a completion report?

Accepted Answer

Yes, every order includes one. It lists each directory we submitted to, the submission date and the current status. Where a listing is already live, it includes the listing URL.

Question 10

Can I order for multiple websites?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Place one order per website, because each site needs its own details, category and directory selection. If you have several sites or want a combined arrangement, contact us first.
